How long do you own your smartphone? A year? Half a year? Have you been wondering how the tech evolution made it that way? The story of a mobile phone isn’t that long. The changes, however, were introduced continuously.
The devices of today have nothing in common with those weighty “things” called “a phone”. 40 years ago there were “the bricks” while the first telecommunication networks just evolved. Oh, and text messages. The first text message was sent in 1992! Can you believe that?
Today it seems like mobile phones always looked like the devices we have today. So, let’s take a step back and see how it all began.
