January 20-25 the World Economic Forum (WEF) convened in Davos Switzerland for the 50th Anniversary and gathered representatives from 117 countries and 121 nationalities. This year’s main agenda was dominated by topics of climate change, capitalism, and technology. Each one was covered by its thought leader sharing the ideas of importance and responsibility.
Today’s #1 climate activist Greta Thunberg took the major stage talking about climate responsibility with words “our house is still on fire” and said young activists would not give up adding “We don’t want these things done by 2050, 2030 or even 2021, we want this done now.”
Marc Benioff, CEO of Salesforce was talking about political responsibility. He called for improvements to the model of US democratic capitalism. “Capitalism as we have known it is dead. This obsession we have with maximizing profits for shareholders alone has led to incredible inequality and a planetary emergency,” says Benioff.
As Lawrence Wintermeyer noticed the technology and innovation front at WEF has grown over the past decade. Davos is now dominated by the global technology and innovation tribe who often has little to do with the WEF but is dedicated to its mission. Seasoned Davos watchers estimate that this tribe outnumbers the 3,000 WEF white badge members attending the main conference two to one, and it is growing annually.
Intetics was proud to join these tech tribe as long as the biggest community of leaders, entrepreneurs and business people and become a partner of Caspian Week Platform. As a startups technical partner and remote in-sourcing developer, the company understands the uprising demands of responsible business and is ready to support them by services and expertise.
In 2020, the Intetics side was represented by President and CEO Boris Kontsevoi, CTO Sergey Kizyan, Business Development Advisor Irina Dubovik, and Executive Assistant Olga Oleksandrova.
While in Davos, the Intetics representative team was actively engaged in discussions of hot trends and topics by visiting such meetings as World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2020 in Davos by Bloomberg, panels and multiple networking events.

Intetics delegates also visited the Ukrainian House Davos and that was regarded as one of the strongest business targets houses this year choosing the main digitalization as the main direction. The House presented a good program with great topics, IT leaders, international guests, and Government participation.
Boris Kontsevoi, Sergey Kizyan, Irina Dubovik had an unforgettable experience to be part of Ukraine House Davos and meet leading players to share the ideas of whether the technology could save the world. And discuss the transformation of education with Robert Shiller.
