That’s a wrap for GEO Business 2022! Two fantastic and busy days were spent on May 18-19 at the ExCeL London Convention Center. Once again, it has become apparent — innovation is the beating heart of GEO Business. Each participant got a clear focus on how geospatial technology is shaping the future.
The line-up of speakers and topics on the Innovation Stage appeared better than ever. Besides, this year’s event’s scale was impressive:
- 150 geospatial technology service providers and suppliers
- more than 3000 visitors from over 55 countries
The exhibitors showcased pure innovations: the latest machine control solutions, robotic total stations, geospatial data software, hardware mounted on mobile mapping vehicles that can plot hundreds of maps in an hour, and many more.
When visitors needed a break from the show floor, they could relax and socialize with other members in the GEO Lounge. It was nice to network with like-minded professionals about emerging technologies integrated with geospatial innovations to revolutionize how we work and live.
A huge thanks to everyone who stopped by the Intetics GB16 booth — we had some great GIS, UAVs, and Geological Mapping conversations!
And of course, we are grateful to everyone who enjoyed the presentation from Dr. Alexander Tretyakov, Business Development Director, Digital and Geo-Solutions.
Alexander covered a range of topics on Computer Vision and the current & future intersection of deep learning and airborne/satellite imagery processing.
Each topic was discussed from the perspective of our completed projects in airborne/satellite imagery data:
- dwelling units’ detection
- change detection for damage response
- parking lot detection
- estimation of forest carbon sequestration
We want to thank everyone: organizers, exhibitors, and participants for a thoughtful engagement, thought-provoking talks, and lots of fun around. It was great to meet so many amazing people, share our insights, and learn about breakthroughs in Geospatial.
We would be happy to discuss your GEO projects challenges and find a needed solution
