The 6th International Congress on Information and Communication Technology, in concurrence with ICT Excellence Awards (ICICT 2021), was held in London, United Kingdom, from February 25-26, 2021. This year, ICICT moved online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The objective of the conference was to provide opportunities for researchers, academicians, industry persons, and students to interact and exchange ideas, experiences, and expertise in the current trend and strategies for information and communication technologies. Another important aim was to focus on innovative issues at the international level by bringing together experts from 91 countries. Only 350 of 1,190 submissions, including Intetics, were chosen for further participation and had a chance to present scientific reports.
Sergey Terekhov, QA Director at Intetics, took part in the Congress with a presentation based on the article, “Practice of Tech Debt Assessment and Management with TETRA™,” which was prepared by Boris Kontsevoi, President and CEO at Intetics, Denis Syraeshko, Delivery Director, Sergey Revko, Technical Team Lead, and the speaker himself. The article covers the further development of the company’s proprietary approach to the assessment of software product quality and measurement of technical debt. The authors showed assessment results of the existing e-learning project with the help of the Technical dEbT Reduction plAtform (TETRA™) with exact numbers of all reviewed metrics and assigned indices as well. The methodology, its advantages, and limitations were also discussed.
