This is a momentous occasion for us at Intetics, and so we take this opportunity to reflect on some of our past accomplishments as well as our vision for the future.
It all began in Minsk, Belarus, on January 27, 1995 when a young and ambitious entrepreneur named Boris Kontsevoi founded a new IT company in a one-room office with just five people on staff. Back then, we worked for life insurance companies through an agency in the USA. The start-up developed and grew, two years later we decided to move the headquarters of our company to the Czech Republic to be closer to our customers and provide more understandable legal framework, and then in 2003 we again moved the headquarters to the USA to fully leverage the global nature of the company.
We also had a different brand name back then – Web Space Station®. This name was the result of the Internet craze when every IT engineer wanted to do something related to the Web. Intetics, which stands for “Internet. Technology. Ethics.”, was actually adopted in 2003 and is here to stay.
In 2005 we established the second production center in Kharkiv, Ukraine, to diversify our offshore base and gain access to a large and quality talent pool. We chose Kharkiv because it has many advantages for IT business: strong educational base, well-developed infrastructure and well-qualified technical specialists. Now this office employs over 100 people. So, we feel pretty confident we picked the right location to support our growth.
Today Intetics employs over 230 people in the U.S., Canada, Belarus and Ukraine, and has representative offices in Germany and the U.K. It has been a great journey. We have built a company that we can be proud of. Intetics has come through the trials and successes of the past 15 years stronger and more agile in delivering the most advanced solutions for a diverse range of services and industries.
We are ISO 9001:2000 certified and Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. Our trophy case includes prestigious Deloitte Technology Fast 50, Inc 500 and CRN 100 awards and we have also been included in the Top 100 Global Emerging Service Providers and Top 100 Global Outsourcing Companies lists. Intetics’ developments run in some of the top companies across the globe including Snap-on, Check Point, Encyclopedia Britannica, Adorama Camera, and StudiVZ among so many others. We are truly a global organization with an entrepreneurial spirit that is attuned to the market trends and needs of our Clients, and which will never be lost.
And we are not stopping here. While we are proud of our past, we are equally excited about our future. We intend to accelerate and gain a greater market share with more focus on new services, R&D and innovation.
