The 2011 Outsourcing World Summit, a great event held from February 21-23, 2011, in Indian Wells, California, brought together top outsourcing professionals from around the world to discuss their companies’ outsourcing experiences and to exchange ideas.
The 14th edition of Outsourcing World Summit included attendees from more than 35 countries including global business leaders, outsourcing executives and leading advisors from over 90 percent of the world’s global economic output. The summit offered delegates a full and comprehensive learning environment such as educational sessions, hands-on practicums, and workshops both before and after the main conference. The summit also included announcements of the Outsourcing Hall of Fame and the Global Outsourcing 100.
The event was organized by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP), the leading professional association for organizations and individuals involved in transforming the world of business through outsourcing, offshoring and shared services.
This year’s event theme was “Embracing Change: How Outsourcing Professionals Can Lead Their Companies to Success.” The summit delved into issues critical to today’s professionals and companies including: globalization, rural sourcing, corporate social responsibility (CSR), cloud computing, today’s outsourcing tools and methods, vendor management, outsourcing as a procurement discipline, transition and governance, and exploring new geographies and transboundary outsourcing. The speaker lineup was loaded with big-name companies like Coca Cola, Microsoft, P&G, Johnson & Johnson, PETCO, and Eastman Kodak.
Intetics’ delegates, company President Boris Kontsevoi, and Marketing and Sales Director Eugene Sandulenko, attended the summit to make new professional contacts and learn about new practices. As Intetics is the head of the East European IAOP chapter, our representatives had several prominent discussions on the topic of promoting outsourcing services to our area.
“We established several prominent networking connections and also were able to discuss our possible partnership with several companies,” said Eugene Sandulenko.
In addition, the 2011 Outsourcing World Summit showcased more than 70 exhibitors on Global Services Mall, presenting the most innovative products and service solutions in the industry. Intetics attended as an exhibitor at the summit’s exhibition hall.
