On March 18, 2010 Alex Golod, Intetics VP, Global Delivery, and Georgy Li, Intetics Area Manager, delivered a presentation “Outsourcing to Eastern Europe: Financial Services Industry Perspective” on the BITS Vendor Management call. BITS, a division of The Financial Services Roundtable, is a not-for-profit industry consortium whose members are 100 of the largest financial institutions in the United States. It fosters growth and development of electronic financial services and e-commerce for the benefit of financial institutions and their customers. The call was organized with the aim to facilitate cooperation between the financial industry and information technology providers. Its participants ranged from the EVP to VP level representing large US-based financial institutions. Intetics’ executives gave a 30-minute presentation highlighting factors that make Easter Europe an attractive outsourcing destination and advances in the economic development of the region. Particular emphasis was placed on Ukraine which is now gaining worldwide recognition as a promising ITO and BPO location.
