On April 23, 2010 Oleg Ridchenko, Director of Project Management at Intetics, delivered a presentation “Training, development and assessment of project managers in IT company” at the conference “Software People 2010” held in Moscow, Russia. Thirty six speakers from seven countries participated in the conference and shared their experience and operational practices on such issues as cloud computing, Agile development, SCRUM processes, application architecture, software testing and usability, management of development teams, project management, software development risks, etc.
Intetics’ presentation described the proprietary system developed and applied at Intetics for training and governing its project managers. This system addresses the challenges that companies face in education and personal development of their project managers and includes such elements as case study and best practices workshops, proprietary competency system, individual goal setting and evaluation programs, personal development plans and training schedule.
The presentation met warm reception and gathered rich feedback from the audience, demonstrating that the topic is very actual for many IT companies.
