On January 13-15 Intetics Tokyo Regional Director, Yoshio Sugano, attended Nepcon Japan, the international conference for electronics design, R&D and Manufacturing.
The exhibit originally launched in 1972, and has over the past 45 years evolved to include all facets of the Japanese electronics industry. It most recently expanded to include the Wearables Expo, which showcases latest developments and advances in the world of wearables. In 2016 the show had over 83,500 thousand visitors, with 2,230 exhibitors. The 46th Nepcon Japan will take place in January 18-20 2017.
Intetics opened a representative office in Japan two years ago on January 1st 2014. The need for software development in Japan is growing, chiefly because of a combination of aging population and growing importance of software, causing a talent shortage.
